Colleen Loveless looks on as husband and business partner Mike, gets a dry wall sander ready for a demonstration at their plant in Price. Their company, Loveless Ash, is one of several small businesses in the area that grew from a single idea. In this case it was designing and selling a vacuum that would clean hot ashes out of a wood stove or fireplace. Since that time almost 20 years ago the company has grown to produce a number of pieces of equipment and recently moved into a new facility next door to their old building. Start up businesses with simple ideas can be successful if the plans are laid properly and the right steps are followed.
