Nominations for 3 Board Member Positions for United Way of Eastern Utah - are being accepted for the 2015-2018 term. Nominations will be accepted by letter, phone or email and must be received no later than May 14, 2015 to be considered a valid nomination. Nominations will be voted on by the current United Way of Eastern Utah board of directors at the regularly scheduled board meeting on May 15, 2015. Term of office: Board of Directors shall hold office for a term of three (3) years with a maximum of three (3) consecutive terms in office. Nominees must be contacted to confirm their acceptance and willingness to serve before submitted for consideration. The 2015 United Way of Eastern Utah Board of Directors will be installed into office at the United Way of Eastern Utah Board of Directors meeting on June 19, 2015. Free Horse Packing Workshop - Conducted by the San Rafael Backcountry Horsemen. Come learn how to pack for work or play using various techniques or to demonstrate how you pack. If you are an experienced packer please come share your knowledge. If you have never packed and are just interested in learning about horse camping please come as well. There will de demonstrations using barrels on saddle stands with plenty of practice time for everyone who would like to give it a try.
