FAFSSO - is a support group for Family and Friends of Same Sex Oriented individuals. Carbon County Family Support and Children's Justice Center - offers crisis care for families with children through 11 years old.
The crisis nursery is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Residents may use the nursery for respite, doctor and mental health appointments, court appearances, medical emergencies, family crisis, support meetings, divorce classes and to escape domestic violence.
Parenting classes are held on Tuesdays from 1:30 to 2:30. Please call ahead to reserve a spot in the class.
The center is also collecting donations for displaced families. Furniture items will be accepted only if the center has families in need.
