Kerry and Karla Powell of Huntington announce the marriage of their son, Kody Merlin Powell, to Elisabeth Brigitte Broucke, the daughter of Phillipe and Brigitte Broucke of Amiens, Normandy, France. The couple will be married July 22 in the Salt Lake Temple. A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor that evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Cottonwood LDS meetinghouse, 5913 South Highland Drive in Salt Lake.
Kody is attending the University of Utah studying chemical engineering while employed by Fairchild Semi Conductor of Salt Lake City. He served in the South Africa-Johannesburg mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Liz studied music and psychology in France and is an interior design major at LDS Business College. She works for Master Card. Kody is the grandson of Merlin Christiansen, the late Jean Christiansen, Roma Powell and the late Jay Powell.
The couple will reside in Salt Lake.
Scott and Annette Henrie announce the marriage of their daughter, Kelley Henrie, to Justin Bosone, the son of Fred and Karen Bosone.
The couple will be married July 22.
A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor that evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Carbon County Club. Dancing will follow.
Scott and Careena Johnson announce the marriage of their daughter, Shawnalee Johnson, to Chase Hinkins, the son of Ross and Jeannine Hinkins.
The couple were married July 8 at the Bear Claw Mountain Resort.
Lindsey Brianne Robertson and Jerimiah Stuart Taylor will be married July 22.
The bride's parents are Becky Robertson of Huntington and the late Brian Robertson. The groom's parents are Debbie and Albert Taylor of Bluffdale.
The couple will reside in Salt Lake, where they are presently employed.
Lynn and June Sherman announce the marriage of their daughter, Nedra Marie Sherman, to William Pete Noyes, the son of Wayne and Shelly Noyes and Ronnie and Shelley Sjogren.
The couple will be married June 29.
A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor that evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the LDS Church, located at 303 West 500 South in Price.
