EAST CARBON/ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Gerald (Jerry) Pruitt passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2006 in Albuquerque, N.M., at the age of 56.
He was born April 29, 1949 in Dragerton, to Harold G. Pruitt Sr. and Marion Roebuck Pruitt. He married Karen Keleher July 26, 1985 in Albuquerque. She passed away Sept. 9, 2000.
Harry attend schools in East Carbon and graduated from East Carbon High in 1968.
He joined the Marine Corps in 1968 and served one year in Vietnam.
Jerry loved his family and especially his son, Timmy.
He enjoyed the outdoors and hunting.
Survived by son, Timmy of Albuquerque, N.M.; mother, Marion Pruitt of East Carbon; two brothers, Harold (Camilla) Pruitt, Price; and James (Sue) Pruitt, Price. He is also survived by five nephews, two nieces and one uncle. Preceded in death by wife, Karen; father, Harold; and many uncles and aunts.
Graveside services will be Thursday, May 18, 3 p.m., at Price City Cemetery.
EAST CARBON - Gayleen Allred Archuleta, age 49, passed away May 7, 2006.
She was born Nov. 13, 1956 in Price to Harry Clark Allred and Annie Childs. Married Phil S. Archuleta March 12, 2005 in East Carbon.
Gayleen was a wonderful and caring person who was very appreciative of what others did for her. She was always there to help a friend and would do anything for the family that she loved.
Gayleen loved hunting for arrowheads, crocheting, camping, sewing, baking and most of all spending time with her husband who cared for her deeply.
She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Survived by husband, Phil S. Archuleta; stepdaughter, LaTasha Archuleta; stepson, Vincent Archuleta; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Phillip and Marina Archuleta, all of East Carbon; brothers-in-law, Matthew (Robert) Archuleta, Price; Alex (Stacy) Archuleta, Spanish Fork; and sister-in-law, Josephine Archuleta, East Carbon. Also survived by daughter, son, mother, brother, sister, and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial service Saturday, May 13, 11 a.m., Calvary Faith Pentecostal Church of God in East Carbon.
