It may be that the girl softball team from Carbon High will not win a game this year.
But don't count them out yet despite another loss to North Sanpete Tuesday evening, 6-0.
Because an earlier spring snow storm forced North Sanpete to travel to Carbon to play rather than have the game in Mount Pleasant, the Lady Dinos had to travel to North Sanpete.
Unfortunately the outcome was not much different than the rest of the season, another loss for the Dinos.
Early runs from the Hawks and no scoring from the Dinos cost them this game. Even though Carbon had five hits, they just couldn't seem to push any runs across home plate.
Erika Potts and Brooke Herrick each hit a two bagger but were left stranded as Carbon's offense sputtered.
The squad finishes up their Region 8 schedule on the road as they face a powerful Juan Diego this afternoon (Thursday). Then they wrap up the season against in a non-league contest against Wasatch on May 9.
