The Delta Rabbits were looking for revenge against Carbon after they took home the bruises from a 43-35 beating on Jan. 10.

On Tuesday night they got it.

The Rabbits were ready and showed the Carbon girls that the second rotation through the Region 8 schedule will be an uphill battle.

It never looked good for the Lady Dinos. They got into a hole in the first quarter and were down by four.

The second quarter saw the offense sputter even more as they could only manage eight points. Delta continued to score and by the half the Dinos were down by 10.

The CHS defense stepped up in the third quarter and limited the Lady Rabbits to nine points. However Delta would not be denied a victory on their home floor and kicked it into overdrive to finish off the Dinos in the fourth. They soundly defeated Carbon in the fourth period by out scoring the Lady Dinos 19-7.

Jamie King was the only Carbon player to score in double figures. She managed to put 10 on the boards. Tabby Cummins and Megan Garvin each added a three in a losing effort.

Carbon remains in second place in Region 8 with a 5-2 region record. They are 11-8 overall.

Juan Diego will travel to Price on Thursday looking for revenge as well. The Lady Dinos defeated Juan Diego earlier in the season by the Score of 47-34.

Thursday's game will start at 7 p.m. in the Dinogym.
