Despite the losses at home, the Dinos have spent considerable time in away games and tournament play. Overall, the Dinos are 7-6 this season.

Last Thursday's game against Granite resulted in a 3-0 win for Carbon, who trampled the Farmers 25-7, 25-7, 25-20.

Though Delta posed more of an opposition, the Dinos still led the first two sets 25-14 and 25-13. The final set became more of a struggle as the Rabbits were able to keep up with the Dinos. With both teams in easy grasp of the win, Carbon finally killed the Rabbits, 28-30.

Dani Martino continues to dominate the stats with 14 kills and six solo blocks against Delta.

As the Dinos near the end of the season, they will continue in region play, playing at North Sanpete today and hosting Emery next Tuesday.

Although the Dinos dominate Region 8, Carbon sits second in statewide 3-A volleyball rankings.

Ahead of the Dinos, Morgan has an 11-6 overall record and is 3-0 in Region 10. And just behind Carbon is Pine View, 4-3 overall and 2-1 in Region 9. Other teams to watch are Judge Memorial, 6-6 overall and 1-2 in Region 10, and Bear River, 6-1 overall and 2-0 in Region 11.
