Jim and Jackie Shorts of Price announce the marriage of their daughter, Kortney Shorts, to Dustin Anderson, the son of Brian and Rhonda Anderson of Logan.
The couple will be married June 11.
A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor in Logan that evening.
Kortney is a graduate of Carbon High School. Dustin is a graduate of Mountain Crest High School in Logan. Following high school, he attended College of Eastern Utah, where they met.
Kortney and Dustin are employed in Logan, where they will reside.
Don and Vickie Reaveley announce the marriage of their daughter, Cortney Joann Reaveley, to Jesse Clark Shepherd, the son of Clark and Debbie Shepherd.
They will be married June 11.
A reception for the couple will be presented that evening from 7 to 10 p.m. at Carbon Country Club, 3055 North U.S. Highway 6.
Cortney is a graduate of Utah State University, earning a bachelor's degree in social work.
The couple will live in Logan, where Jesse is employed with Ted Lansing Corporation.
Todd and Cheryl McFarland of East Carbon City announce the marriage of their daughter, Austin Rae McFarland, to Christopher Greg Cowan, the son of Greg and Clea Cowan of Helper.
The couple will be married June 11.
A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor that evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Greenwell Inn, located at 655 E. Main, Price. Dancing will follow.
Austin is a 2001 graduate of East Carbon High and is employed as a correctional officer at the Carbon County Sheriff's Office Chris is a 1998 graduate of Carbon High, a 2000 graduate of College of Eastern Utah and a 2003 graduate of ITT. He works as an electrician for Intermountian Electronics.
The couple plan to make their home in Helper.
Jim and Ruth Hunsaker announce the engagement of their daughter, Dana Marie Hunsaker, to Jeremy Craig Hansen. Dana is also the daughter of the late Maurine Hunsaker. Jeremy's parents are Craig and Heidi Hansen of West Point.
Dana graduated from Emery High in 2003 and is serving in the Utah Army National Guard in the 1457th ECB. Jeremy graduated from Clearfield High in 2000. He served in the Philippines-Baguil mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is serving in the United States 19th Special Forces.
The couple met while stationed in Nicaragua and are planning an October wedding.
Randy and Betsy Johnson announce the marriage of their son, Jacob Johnson, to Susan Griffin, the daughter of Clair and Marilyn Griffin of Logan.
They will be married June 11 in the Logan LDS Temple.
A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor that evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the bride's home, located at 630 N. 200 East, Logan.
Jacob works for Senator Orrin Hatch. Susan is a speech and language pathologist at the Lab School of Washington, D.C.
The couple will continue to reside in the Washington area.

The couple will be married June 11 at the Freedom Christian Fellowship Church in Price.

Bonnie is a 1999 graduate of Carbon High and works at Phone Directories Company in Price as an advertising consultant. Virgil is a 1995 graduate of Carbon High and works at Tram Electric.

David and Gaye Babcock and Lorrie and Paul Roper announce the marriage of their daughter, Stefanie Jo Babcock, to Dave Mumford, the son of Richard and Margo Mumford.
Stefanie and Dave will be married June 9 at Lake Powell.
A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor June 11 from 6 to 10 p.m. at South Mountain Golf Club, located at 1247 East Mike Weir Drive in Draper.
Stefanie is a 2000 graduate of Carbon High and a 2004 graduate of Utah Valley State College. She works as a nurse at Cottonwood Hospital. Dave is employed as a mechanic.
The couple plan to reside in Draper.
Roger and Michelle Anderson of Huntington announce the marriage of their daughter, Kortnie Anderson, to Trent Anderson, the son of Wayne and Michele Anderson of Benjamin. They will be married June 10 in the Manti LDS Temple. A reception will be presented that evening at the Huntington 1st LDS Ward building. An open house is planned June 17 at the Benjamin LDS Ward building.
Kortnie is a graduate of Emery High and Snow College. She plans to continue her education at Utah State University in business. Trent is a graduate of Spanish Fork High and Snow College. He served in the Washington-Spokane mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and plans to continue his education at USU in the agribusiness program. The bride's grandparents are the late Soren and Hope Anderson, Janet Greenan and the late Michael Greenan. Grandparents of the groom are Clair and Lottie Lou Anderson, Valera Hogan and the late Robert Hogan.
