Coach Bryan Zollinger said the early, non-conference games allow the team to see what needs to be worked on.
"With 24 conference games this year, there is not much room for error," he commented.
In Tuesday's game against Westminster, Zollinger said the team was working hard and the depth of the bench was a contributing factor to the 77-61 win.
"You're not going to play perfectly at this point in the year," he stated. "But, I've been pleased with the effort level."
The mens team will host Clearfield this Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Bunnell-Dmitrich Athletic Center. Gametime is 7:30 p.m.
