Carbon to host rodeo meet Friday afternoon

Expect to see a lot of bronco busting, barrel racing, tie-down competitions and much more as the Carbon Rodeo Club will play host to a Utah High School Rodeo Association event on Friday, April 11 starting at 3 p.m. at the Carbon County Fairgrounds.

Expect to see a lot of bronco busting, barrel racing, tie-down competitions and much more as the Carbon Rodeo Club will play host to a Utah High School Rodeo Association event on Friday, April 11 starting at 3 p.m. at the Carbon County Fairgrounds.

Rodeo competitiors from all over the state will meet for a day of competition on Friday before heading down to Emery County for another event on Saturday. The spring rodeo season began one week ago in Ogden and the competitors will continue to travel from meet to meet each weekend through mid-May before the State Finals competition in Heber City on June 4-7.
