Motorcycle crash causes minor injuries on Old Wellington Road

The driver was operating a 1980s Yamaha Maxim, according to police officials on scene.

Carbon County Emergency Medical Technicians and Sheriffs Deputies respond to a single vehicle accident on Old Wellington Road.

According to the officers on scene, a male driver lost control of his 1980s Yamaha Maxim motorcycle while traveling westbound at approximately 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. He then dumped the street bike into some roadside weeds before involving any other vehicles or property during the incident.

Witnesses reported that the operator suffered minor injuries and was transported to Castleview Hospital for assessment.
