He was born June 13, 1929 in Richfield to Edward Bryan and Amber Tuttle Reid. Married the love of his life, Marilyn Issacson on June 17, 1970 in Wendover, Nev.
Bryan was a man who knew great sorrows but greater joy. A man who did the best he knew, and lived his life in honesty and integrity. Bryan proudly served his country in the Navy and rarely a day went by where a discussion of the Navy or Jesus didn't come up. He was a man of incredible experience and skill. He did everything from camp cooking in the Grand Canyon, repairing electrical systems in the Navy, supporting the military at Hill AFB, to running his own bar. He even worked on the space shuttle. Bryan could fix or do just about anything. Gardening, now that is what he loved to do. Sit with him over a cup of coffee in his garden and you heard everything about every plant. He did nothing half way or halfheartedly. He always had a beautiful yard.
He loved his wife, kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Nothing brought him greater pleasure than spending time with his family. The more of them that were around at one time, the happier he was. But to his credit his greatest love was Jesus. Well maybe, I think his love for coffee was close, and Bryan never had a bad cup of coffee.
He is survived by his sister, Norma Petrie, Price; brother-in-law, Bob Cook, Arizona; children, Michelle Reid, Tennessee, Michael (Carla) Reid, Florida, Tamara Reid, Doug (Kathy) Reid, Price, Scott Reid, Becky (Ed) Christensen, Logan, Korey (Diana) Reid, Oregon, Ryan (Micky) Reid, Texas, Melanie (Rob) Stapely, Hyrum; son-in-law, Martin Martinez, Helper; 24grandkids and 28 great-grandkids.
