Alejandra “Ally” Dunn, of Helper was arrested by Price Police Monday for criminal offenses including first degree homicide and second degree controlled substance distribution.
A Helper resident was arrested Monday on homicide and controlled substance distribution charges in Price.
Alejandra "Ally" Dunn, 26, was booked into the Carbon County Jail Monday for criminal offenses that include Criminal Homicide/Murder, a first degree felony and Distribution of a Controlled Substance, a second degree felony.
According to Price Police Capt. Bill Barnes, Dunn's arrest caps a four month plus investigation into the circumstances surrounding the drug overdose death of a Salt Lake City man on August 3. While the death did occur in Price, the victim was not identified in the police's release.
The release stated that forensic evidence located by lead investigator Det. Chris Pugliese allegedly implicated Dunn in the circumstances surrounding the death.
Detectives interviewed Dunn who confirmed to authorities pertinent details of her involvement relating to the investigation, including that she allegedly committed actions fulfilling the elements of the above listed charges, according to the release.
