Shopping with a cop

Carbon County Chief Deputy Sheriff Tom Stefanoff helps Nicklaus Wildman, 7, chose his gifts during the annual "Shop with a Cop" event at Walmart.
Price City representative and event organizer Tracy Allred shows up with a gang of cops and kids ready to do a little shopping at Walmart on Dec. 14. After having breakfast at McDonalds, the kids were escorted to the shopping center with lights and sirens before being treated to a $100 shopping spree.
Kaelea Wooden, who will turn five on Christmas Day, shops the Walmart aisles with East Carbon Officer Kelsey Shumway (not pictured). The shopping event included kids from every city in the area.
East Carbon Police Officer Shawn Sackett and Sgt. Phillip Holt share a light hearted moment during the shop with a cop event.

Carbon County Chief Deputy Sheriff Tom Stefanoff helps Nicklaus Wildman, 7, chose his gifts during the annual "Shop with a Cop" event at Walmart. Participating in the youth program was every law enforcement agency in the county, including sheriff's officials, East Carbon, Price, Wellington and Helper Police. Participating children are given $100 to spend in any manner they see fit. This year, the kids and their families were treated to a breakfast at McDonalds prior to arriving at Walmart Saturday morning with lights and sirens.
