Hard working Dinos show skills to home crowd at annual Blue-White match
Building a wrestling program is no easy task.
For Carbon High head coach Steve Woodhouse and the rest of the Carbon High wrestling team, hard work, being aggressive and showing a desire to improve every day are just some of the building blocks the team is focusing on as they start the 2013-14 season.
"There's a lot of work for us to do over the season," Woodhouse said after his team's Blue-White match on Tuesday evening.
Woodhouse said he was pleased with the effort shown by the team during the matches. But he and the rest of the Dinos know that hard work is a key to the season.
"We need to build up our stamina because we can't get tired in the second and third periods of a match," he said. "We want to be better trained than any of the teams we'll face this season."
The Dinos will open the season on Dec. 3 when they host Altamont.
