Panthers split doubleheader with Manila to open Region 17 play

The Pinnacle High School baseball team opened Region 17 play with a split of a doubleheader on the road against Manila.

Manila took the first game 7-6, but Pinnacle fought back to take game two and get a 7-4 win.

Pinnacle is currently 6-8 overall and 1-1 in Region 17 play. The team hosted Telos on Monday afternoon at the USU Eastern Baseball Field.

The Panthers will continue Region 17 play on Sept. 27 with a doubleheader against Tabiona at home.
