After a tough performance during a tournament held at Panguitch, all the PHS baseball team wanted to do was put the losses behind them.

They responded with a 20-6 win over Telos on Monday afternoon.

"It was good to get a win and get the team back on track," said head coach Cam Gardner.

With the run-rule win, Gardner said the entire roster was able to get in some playing time which should help as the team heads into Region 17 play with a doubleheader on the road against Manila on Friday.

"The win was a real confidence builder for us and now we're excited to try and go out and get our first region win," said Gardner.
