Pinnacle's Noah Mascarenas prepares to round third base during a game last season. The Panthers have opened 2013 with a 3-3 record.

Despite a rough performance at a 1A baseball tournament in Richfield, the Pinnacle Panthers baseball team is looking to bounce back and stay above .500.

The Panthers went 1-2 at the tournament, being outscored 29-3 in the two losses to Panguitch and Manila. The Panthers finished the tournament with a 16-3 win over Intermountain Christian on Friday.

The Panthers (3-3) hosted Wendover on Monday at home. The team will travel to Dugway for their next game on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
