Almost before they could settle in to the start of the game, defensive miscues in the first inning left Price in a deep hole they couldn't climb out of in their 10-3 loss to Granger on Monday evening.

Granger scored seven runs in the first inning with a little help from errors from the Price defense that put the game out of reach.

Price got on the board in the bottom of the second when Caden Sherman tripled with two outs before Trace Johnson knocked him in with an infield hit. They added two more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning when Steven Zamantakis was hit by a pitch and Caden Sherman walked both with the bases loaded.

Price hosted Helper on Tuesday afternoon and they will travel to play West today (July 3) at 6 p.m.
