The Green Team held a recycling effort for electronics in April of 2012 and it was a huge success. This Saturday they will be doing it again and this is another chance for the public to rid themselves of that electronic junk they don't want.
The Green Team of Price City along wit 5R Processors, Ltd. and ONCORP are teaming up together to help Price City and the surrounding communities properly dispose of their household electronics equipment. The 5R Processors will be set up at 150 East Main Street in Price on Saturday (May 11) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. where they will be accepting any old or obsolete electronics equipment.
They will be taking free of charge most consumer electronics and home office equipment including the following:
They will accept broken glass on monitors and televisions, bare CRT tubes, wood console televisions, projection televisions and wood speakers for a small fee.
They will not accept white goods at this event.
The companies will also offer Data Destruction wipes for a charge of $10.
For information and a complete list of acceptable items visit the 5R Recycling Events page at www.5Rprocessors.com or call (715) 322-4480.
