Trucks and fire fighters from multiple agencies battle a cabin blaze Monday morning on the shore of Scofield Reservoir.
A fire in Bolotas Subdivision on Scofield Reservoir on Monday morning took out one cabin as fire fighters worked to protect others.
The fire, which is of undetermined origin, was reported about 7:15 a.m. and was originally described as being "one half mile north of the north most subdivision on Scofield Reservoir." However when fire fighters arrived they found it to be on the second row back from the lake in the southeast corner of Bolotas.
Fire fighting units from Helper and Price fought the blaze as the Carbon County Sheriff's Department and the Highway Patrol responded for security purposes.
The cabin was a complete loss. The investigation into the cause was continuing as of press time.
