Magical weavers Elizabeth Tait and Kimberly Robbins are singing a duet while they create a magnificent new addition to the emperor's wardrobe. Only smart, honest people can see the cloth. Naturally, the emperor (Jacob Spjute) claims to see his new clothes and so does his prime minister, Allysa Packard. The audience gets to sing along with this one, telling the emperor he has "No hat, no coat, no shirt, no pants." Douglas Moore put the old fable to music, and the scholarship quartet takes in on the road to perform at schools. |
