White-knuckle driving at top of canyon

It was time to grip the steering wheel tightly with two hands Friday at dusk as the softened snow on US 6 between Soldier Summit and the Scofield turnoff began to refreeze and get slick. Cloudy and cold weather is in the forecast for the week ahead, but no snow.
