Audrey M. Watson 1929 - 2013
RIVERTON/PRICE - Devoted wife and homemaker, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, Audrey M. Watson passed away peacefully at her son's home in Riverton on Jan. 10, 2013. She was born on April 22, 1929 in Vivian, W. Va., daughter of Nellie and John R. McPeak. Audrey married Paul E. Watson in 1951 and they raised two sons. Great friends were a large part of her life wherever she lived, including Lynch, Ky., Gary, W. Va., East Carbon and Salt Lake City. Widowed for 23 years, she has now rejoined her best friend, her loving husband.
Audrey was a compassionate woman who spent most of her life serving her family. Her spare time was spent with friends and in volunteer work in schools, the community and in WAAIMEs. She will always be remembered for her kindness, hospitality, wit, social grace, charm and cooking the world's best Thanksgiving dinners. She will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Audrey's hobbies included crossword puzzles, playing bridge, golf, and of course, the slot machines at Wendover.
Audrey is survived by her two sons - Jack R. (Kathy) of Welch, W. Va. and Michael P. (Annette) of Riverton, eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and her brother Jerry.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul, sister Jean, brothers Randall, Roger and Bobby.
Memorial services were held for the immediate family.
