Albert Pierre Faure (Frenchie)

Albert Pierre Faure was born on Aug. 14, 1935 in Price the son of Albert and Augusta Faure. He attended Notre Dame School and graduated from Carbon High School in 1954.

Albert served in the U.S. Army after high school and was stationed in Puerto Rico. He returned to Price and graduated from Carbon Junior College. In 1962 he married Mary Margaret Chiara and they moved to San Jose, Calif., where he worked as a mechanical technician for the Lawrence Radiation Laboratory in Livermore, Calif. In 1974, Albert moved his family to Placerville, Calif., where he opened a print shop (Ace Copy). He was active in the Placerville Kiwanis Club and served as president of the club in 1982-83. Albert was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan. He also loved to travel and went on many trips with his friends and relatives.

Albert is survived by his wife Mary, daughters Shelly Hoisington and Anita Chavez (Paul), his sister Alberta Larson, grandchildren, Tyler Hoisington, Samantha Chavez and Josh Chavez. He also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews and friends. He died on Dec. 6, 2012. Services are pending at this time.
