USU Eastern Basketball teams set to face off against Idaho schools

Point guard Hailee Parry will look to guide USU Eastern to an upset of top ranked North Idaho College on Saturday at 3 p.m.

USU Eastern's Jason Timpf will look to continue his streak of good games after averaging 7 points and 15 rebounds last weekend.

The USU Eastern Men's and Women's Basketball teams will open Scenic West Athletic Conference play as they host College of Southern Idaho and North Idaho College tonight and on Saturday afternoon.

The USU Eastern Women are coming back home after suffering two losses to All-Stars teams during a tournament held at Snow College last weekend. The Lady Eagles (3-10) will try to start SWAC play on a high note despite going against the number one ranked North Idaho College on Saturday.

The USU Eastern Men (8-3) will also look to try and compete with the tough Idaho schools after posting two wins during a tournament in Twin Falls, Idaho last weekend. Miles Gatewood, Dytanya Johnson and Jason Timpf will look to continue their good play for the Golden Eagles this weekend.

The USU Eastern Women and Men will host CSI tonight with games starting at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. The two teams will host NIC on Saturday with games starting at 3 and 5 p.m. respectively.
