Conductor Russell Wilson wields the baton in Sunday's performance of Handel's Messiah. The concert by the USU Eastern Chamber Choir and Price Civic Chorale and Orchestra continued a community tradition that began 63 years ago. Singers and orchestra members come from Carbon and Emery counties, with many having performed in the annual concert for more than a decade. There was room for all the players on the remodeled stage of the Price Civic Auditorium, but the group was wider than the camera lens could handle. Some members on the edges of the stage didn't fit the frame. We'll have a wider lens for the 65th performance next year.
