A local man missing for more than a week was found early Friday morning.

Justin Olson, 26, of Price, was found around 7:30 a.m. walking along Highway 10 near the Carbon/Emery County line, according to his mother, Carolyn Atwood. Atwood said a passerby noticed a man resembling Olson dressed in a hoodie walking along the side of the road and called 911.

Lt. Tory Christiansen with the Carbon County Sheriff's Office said a deputy was sent on a welfare check shortly after and spotted Olson walking along the highway. The man confirmed his identity as being Olson to the deputy and that he was very apologetic for being missing for over a week, Christiansen said.

Atwood said Olson told her he spent the week up in the hills and mountains in the area spending the time by himself and not with a group of friends.

Olson worked a shift at his job at Wendy's on Saturday, Oct. 27 and was seen by friends later that night before going missing the following day.

There was some concern that he may have left the area and was looking to possibly go to California. On his Facebook page he listed himself under his rap name of Onin Tr3 and said he lived in Palm Springs, Calif. Atwood said Olson has expressed interest in the past of going back to California, but would never leave without telling anyone where he was.

Atwood was concerned that Olson may have some injuries, including possible head trauma, that came from when he drove his car off an embankment near Consumers Road a few days before his disappearance. Olson declined to be taken to the hospital after the accident.

Atwood said she took Olson to a doctor since he has been home and he was given a clean bill of health. Some of Onin Tr3's work is on YouTube,
