The SUN Center at USU/CEU unites the college and service communities in volunteer activities. Among the many activities that students of the college take part in is the Sun Advocate's annual "No Grave Unadorned" project. Students at the SUN center made thousands of handmade carnations again this year.
SUN Center stands for Serving Utah Network Center and its motto this year is, "Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can." -John Wesley. The mission of the Utah State University College of Eastern Utah SUN Involvement Center is to unite the college and service communities together in productive, volunteer activities that inspire meaningful service, promote a positive image and develop life-long, responsibly engaged citizens. From the beginning of August, SUN Center has accomplished over 1,600 hours of service.
SUN Center has numerous service projects for students and the community to be involved in throughout the entire year. They also hold an alternate spring break for USU Eastern students who would rather spend their break doing service while having fun with peers.
