First responders begin the rescue efforts after Thursday morning's crash.
A momentary loss of attention to driving led to a car leaving the road and crashing down a hillside on SR 10 south of Price Thursday morning.
Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Matt Bunnell said theVolkswagen Jetta was headed northbound when the driver apparently took her eyes off the road for a few seconds to look for something inside the car.
The driver, identified as 30-year-old Sunee Young of Price, sustained an apparent injury to her arm when her car crossed the opposing lane of traffic and plunged down a hill. The car stopped when it hit a chain link fence near a pond at the bottom of the hill.
The car's airbag deployed. However, Young was cited for failing to wear a seatbelt. She was transported by ambulance to Castleview Hospital.
