A towing team surveys the wreckage Monday morning.
A 41-year-old man was killed Sunday afternoon when his SUV left the road and tumbled about 100 feet down a steep hill west of Helper.
Chief Deputy Tom Stefanoff identified the victim as Roy Bonuales of Helper. Officers from Helper, the Sheriff's Department and Utah Highway Patrol responded to the call at about 1 p.m. Bonuales was dead at the scene.
Because of the steep, rugged terrain, the victim's body was recovered by a UHP helicopter shortly after 5 p.m.
The incident is being investigated.
