Betty Procarione

?PRICE - Our loving wife and mother, Greta "Betty" Doleatti Procarione, age 80, passed away Sept. 22, 2012 at Castleview Hospital in Price.

She was born Jan. 4, 1932 in Price to Dante C. and Olga Bettino Doleatti.

On July 6, 1953 she married her sweetheart James L. Procarione in Salt Lake City and they were blessed with four wonderful children.

Betty was a lifelong resident of Carbon County and graduate of Notre Dame High School. She later attended Stevens-Henager College in Salt Lake City and eventually returned to Price where she worked as a bank teller for Walker/First Interstate Bank. Betty brought great happiness to those around her and her cheerful personality warmed the hearts of all. Betty always enjoyed a good laugh and was happiest when she was visiting with family and friends.

She loved to read, crochet, take trips to Wendover and she could hardly wait to read her next mystery book. Betty loved spending the holidays with family and going the extra mile to help those in need. She will be dearly missed by her family and many longtime friends.

Betty is survived by her husband, Jim Procarione, two daughters and one son, Norma Rae Procarione, Barbara Ann Procarione, all of Price, John (Carmela) Procarione, Spring Glen; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Pauline Doleatti, Rawlins, Wyo., Rudy (Alma Rae) Procarione, Price, Ernie (Patricia) Procarione, West Valley, Juanita Budo, Boyd Berensen, both of Price; cousins, Norina Carrasco, Helper, Jay (Rexine) Draper, Paul Draper, both of Wellington; many loving nieces and nephews who she adored.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, James A. Procarione; and brother Robert Doleatti.

Funeral service, Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, 10 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Vigil service, Tuesday evening 7 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 E. Main Street, Price). Family will be at Mitchell's Tuesday and Wednesday one hour prior to services. Committal service, Cliffview Cemetery, Price.
