Junior Kira Tadehara looks to stop a Granger player making her way towards the Carbon High goal.
While the Carbon High Lady Dinos soccer team has yet to win a game this season, the team is showing improvements that coaches have worked on since the team first began practicing weeks ago.
While the team lost games this past week to Grantsville (4-2) and Granger (3-1), Co-head coach Tracy Brady said the girls are becoming more competitive with each game.
"The girls are seeing a change in the way they are playing by progressing and being competitive in each game they've played so far," Brady said. "They're learning and continuing to grow as players out on the field."
After not recording a goal in their first three games, the Lady Dinos have scored three times in their last two games.
The team will try to improve in practice as they have a break until Sept. 5 when they will travel to Delta for a game starting at 4 p.m.
