Carbon High basketball athlete, Neal Maynes was recently named to the Utah High School Activities Association's academic all-state team for his performance on the court and in the classroom during the basketball season.
Maynes recieved this award after meeting specific grade point requirements while competing in a sporting event.
He was honored during the state basketball finals last month for his achievement.
