Jazz' Favors brings NBA game and smile to Price

A TOUGH SHOT! The long arms of 6-foot-10 Jazz forward Derrick Favors create a bit of a quandary for one Price youngster

Utah Jazz forward Derrick Favors signed autographs and took photos with many of those in attendance before leaving for another event down in Emery County on Tuesday afternoon.

Some lucky participants were chosen to play a short game with Derrick Favors after correctly answering a question. McKenna Sorenson, 13, smiles after getting a shot to go in the basket over Favors and his long wingspan. "It was a lucky shot," Sorenson said.

Derrick Favors smiles during a drill with kids at the BDAC on Tuesday afternoon. The event included working on skills, a shooting competition, learning about Favors' life and much more. The event brought out about 200 people including many kids who relished the opportunity to interact with an NBA player.
