Jazz's Favors to visit Price on July 31

Jazz big man to hold skills clinic for kids at the BDAC

Utah Jazz forward Derrick Favors will be visiting Price on July 31 as part of an event put on by Carbon County Recreation in conjunction with the Utah Jazz.

Favors will help lead a basketball skills clinic for kids and will also have autographed photos available at the event. The event will be held at the BDAC at USU Eastern on Tuesday, July 31 starting at 1 p.m.

Favors, who finished up his second season in the NBA, was the third overall pick in the 2010 draft and was selected by the Jazz after just one season at Georgia Tech.

The 6-10 forward averaged 9 points and 7 rebounds last season and scored career-highs in points (23) and rebounds (17) in a win over Golden State in March.
