  Carbon County has completed the application requirements for renewal
of the solid waste permit for the Class IVb landfill at the existing
site on Airport Road, east of Price, Utah.  The Division of Solid and
Hazardous Waste has reviewed the permit renewal application and a
draft permit has been prepared.  Class IVb landfills are noncommercial
landfills that are permitted to receive all non-hazardous construction
and demolition waste, yard waste, dead animals, inert waste and waste
tires.  The public comment period for the application and draft permit
will commence on May 15, 2012 and end on June 14, 2012.

	A public hearing may be held if, within 15 days of publication of
this notice, a request is made in writing which meets the requirements
of Utah Administrative Code R315-311-3.

	For public convenience, an unofficial copy of the application and the
draft permit can be viewed on the Internet at
