BIRDSEYE/EAST CARBON - Our loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Juanita Lane Harper Robinson, age 82, passed away unexpectedly at Mountain View Hospital, in Payson on April 10, 2012.
She was born on Feb. 8, 1930 in Morehouse, MO., to Lynn Harper and Hazel Ferry Harper. She married Marvin Robinson on May 24, 1946 in Charleston, Mo. He died on Nov. 24, 1975. Her companion and partner for the last 20 years was Edward Jones. He preceded her in death on Oct. 26, 2011.
Juanita, "Nana" was a straight shooter. She was honest about the way she believed and never pulled any punches. She was a fun loving spirit to the end. She loved music, dancing and to have a good time. She had a variety of interests, horses, camping, and traveling. Her greatest love were her family and friends. She loved to visit and "cut up." She was always there for people who needed her help and would be there in the drop of a hat if called.
Juanita is survived by her children, Sandra (Pete) Fabela, Salt Lake City, Marvin "Butch" (Zena), Price, Bonnie (Mike) Cisneros, Huntington, Terry (Chris), Denver, Colo., Larry (Dana), East Carbon. Six step children, Ron, Roger, Mark, Floyd, Kent, Karen and their spouses. 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren, numerous step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, spouses, siblings, Helen, Betty, Peggy, Lu and Hal, two great grandsons Steven and Cameron.
Funeral Service, Friday, April 13, 2012, 11 a.m. Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell's Thursday evening from 7 - 8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to service. Interment, Price City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome daily and may share memories of Juanita online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
