Wreckage from the collision blocks both lanes of the highway at the Red Narrows.
Two semitrailers traveling along Highway 6 collided in the Red Narrows Thursday evening and strewed wreckage across both lanes.
The southeastern Utah traffic artery was closed for nearly 12 hours as debris was hauled away and environmental mitigation got under way.
The Utah Highway Patrol reported the accident took place around 6 p.m. One of the semitrailers was hauling gasoline, according to the UHP.
Motorists were advised to search for alternate roads if traveling near the area.
The road re-opened shortly before 6 a.m.
