Bob was the second of eight children. Bob was married to Darla Jean Adair on Dec. 1, 1979 in Wellington, later divorced.
Bob was raised in Sunnyside, and graduated from East Carbon High School. He had many friends who he enjoyed having a good time with. Bob enjoyed and looked forward to spending time with family and friends. He raised bird dogs which he trained and sent them across the country. He loved his horses and spent many enjoyable hours under the stars riding and camping.
After high school, Bob enlisted in the service and received a medical discharge. Bob then worked on the railroad for about a year.
