Murray Pearson Young
Murray Pearson Young, (also known as Herman Hucklemeyer), age 64, beloved brother, uncle, great-uncle, great-great-uncle, cousin and friend passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, while holding his Heavenly Father's hand and looking upward for his mother.
He was born in Salt Lake City on May 31, 1947 to Lawrence Jefferson and Mary Hazel (Murray) Young.
Murray's life was challenged with Down syndrome and now his spirit will be returned to a perfect state of health. Murray loved music and loved conducting the world's greatest orchestras and bands from the comfort of his home. He knew every star in every show on TV and loved telling us who they were. Murray was a member of the A.R.C. and loved going to work every day where he worked in recycling, making many friends everywhere he went on the job.
Murray has a large family that he loved spending time with on birthdays, camping trips, Christmas parties, and special holidays.
He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loves his Heavenly Father. Murray is a wonderful example of who the Savior wants all of us to be.
Murray is survived by his sisters, and brothers, Beth (Richard) Barker, Lawrence (Dorothy) Young Jr., Gay Wilson, Ernie Young, and Brigham (Mary Anne) Young. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Murray was preceded in death by his mother, father, uncle Brigham H. Young, brother-in-law, Milton Wilson, sister-in-law, Gloria Young, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
