"We had a lot of great swims and to be honest it even shocked me," said Carbon coach Kamra Davis. "Being the first meet of the season with most of the kids not swimming since February and half of our team just barely back from other sports, I couldn't be happier with their swims."

Boys 200 medley relay with five teams entered also dominated with a first place and third place finish. Starting the individual events was Erica Mantz in the 200 free this is her first time swimming this event and she swam great placing first. Boys 200 free Lance Riche captured first, Next event was a close one but Carbons Aysha Black stole the first place in the 200 I.M. from the Spartan passing her in the last 25 yards of the race. In a great swim by Dakota Powell he swam away with first in the 50 free slaughtering his personal best. Tatianna Larsen finishes first in the 100 butterfly. Dakota Powell swam another personal best and finished more than eight seconds before the next competitor took first in the 100 butterfly.

Boys 100 back was a intense race between Carbons Lance Riche and Emerys Weston Allinson, Allinson was leading until the last 15 yards on the race and Riche kicked it in gear fighting back and just out touching him, their times were only three tenths of a second apart, which brought the crowd to their feet.
