Bid Notice

    
Carbon County will accept sealed bids for a Track Dozer for our road
and landfill operations.  The minimum specifications are:

	Must be new, unused machine	Long Track
	3 Shank Ripper	Lights - Front & Rear
	Climate Control Cab	Wipers - Front & Rear
	AM-FM Radio	Suspension Seat
	Grade Control Ready	12 Volt Power Ports
	(Pat) Blade	Cold Weather Start Aid
	40,000 to 50,000 lb machine	Rock Guards
	180 t 230 Horse Power	Back-Up Alarm
	Fire Extinguisher	2 Operating Manuals
	MSHA Approved	Parts Book & CD
	Service Manuals	ROPS Cab

	List all options or other features.  Include all maintenance and
warranty information.

	Bids are due at the Carbon County Clerk/Auditor's Office at 120 East
Main Street, Price, Utah, 84501, prior to 5:00 p.m. October 4, 2011. 
Bids will be opened on October 5, 2011 during a regular commission
meeting beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the Carbon County Courthouse, 120
East Main Street, Price, Utah.  

	On the outside of the envelope please indicate (in red ink) "Sealed
Bid for Track Dozer".

	Carbon County is not responsible for bids that are received late due
to delays in delivery by any source.  Faxed bids will not be accepted.

	Carbon County reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to
waive any informality of any bid and to select the bid which in the
opinion of the County provides the best product, warranty and/or
service for the County.
