After a summer full of watching grass get cut, bushes get their pruning, flower beds watered each day and much more, members of the Price City Community Progress Committee were finally set to announce the winners of the yard of the month for the All Spruced Up contest.
The contest started in June and continued on through August, as judges looked at many homes and businesses all throughout the community, according to Price City Councilwoman Kathy Hanna-Smith. The city was broken up into four quadrants, with one business and one home from each area of the city being chosen for yard of the month.
Some of the qualifications required to win included neatness, uniqueness, street appeal, water conservation and many others.
Winners will be able to hold bragging rights as their signs will be in place until next summer.
