The Carbon High girls tennis team continues to find success with individual and doubles wins. They did not win either region match against Delta or North Sanpete this week, but Jaylee Nielson did take both of her singles matches from the other team's top singles player.

Tuesday, the girls played in Delta and did a great job. Nielson, as first singles, won in straight sets. Carbon's second doubles, Alex Richens and Madison Alleman, also won in straight sets. The others played well but lost their matches against Delta.

"The JV teams did a great job in their matches and are showing a lot of promise," added coach Tom Alleman.

On Thursday the Lady Dinos had a home match against North Sanpete. Nielsen again won her first singles match. The others played hard but lost.

This week the Carbon girls tennis team heads to Payson on Tuesday and have a bye on Thursday.
