INVITATION TO BID
Carbon County will accept sealed bids for the North Coal Creek Bridge
Replacement Project located at approximately 3700 East on North Coal
Creek Road, Price, Utah. Plans and specifications will be available
for purchase at the Carbon County Courthouse in the Clerk's office for
a non-refundable fee of $50.00 per set. The County will be accepting
bids for this project as follows. Bid No.1 will be for construction of
the entire project as shown in the plans and the project manual. Bid
No.2 will be for the concrete construction portion only. The County
will determine which bid option they will pursue based on available
Qualified Contractors may submit bids to the Carbon County Clerk's
Office at 120 East Main Street, Price, Utah 84501 prior to 3:00 PM on
Monday August 31st 2011. Bid opening will be at 3:30 PM on Monday
August 31st 2011 in the small conference room at the Courthouse
located at 120 East Main Street, Price, Utah. Please note on the
outside of the envelope in red "SEALED BID FOR: NORTH COAL CREEK
BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT". Carbon County is not responsible for
bids that are received late due to delays in delivery by any source.
Carbon County is also not responsible for delivery to an incorrect
location by any source. Bids will not be accepted by Fax or e-mail.
Carbon County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive
any informality of any bid and to select the bid which in the opinion
of the County provides the best product, warranty and service to the
County. All interested contractors must attend a mandatory pre-bid
meeting held at 9:00 AM on Thursday August 25th 2011 in the small
conference room at the County Courthouse. If you have any questions,
