As a hairdresser for 40 years, Sherri Mills of Helper has had lots of conversations with customers about their marital woes.

She has seen the impact that divorce can have on women, men and children. And she has had troubles of her own.

So after decades of observation and and personal experience, she decided to write a book about what she has seen work and fail in saving marriages.

The result is a recently-published book, I Almost Divorced My Husband But I Went on Strike Instead.

The work focuses on issues that disrupt married life, especially the idea of sharing household work.

Ms. Mills will have a public book signing at the Holiday Inn in Price Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m., and will be there to discuss the book and other questions with the public.
