Chainsaws and a crane manage to cut up the tree and haul it away.
When Carl and RuthAnn Stefanoff returned to their south Price home Monday afternoon, they decided to turn on their TV to the Weather Channel.
"I was wondering why we couldn't get reception, so I went around to the back and saw the problem," Carl said. "I called to my wife and said, 'You've got to see this.'"
Strong winds had pushed over the old Russian olive tree in their back yard and collapsed it into their roof. The satellite dish was crumpled and there was other minor damage to the roof and gutter.
Carl said they didn't get excited about it. They called a tree crew who came and sawed up the tree and hauled it away. There was some electrical work to be done, but aside from that, the house is still liveable.
