FERRON - Bill Zerl Jones, age 85, passed away on May 25, 2011.

Bill was a coal miner for 44 years. He was the local UMWA President and the District Union Mine President. He was a rancher, and although he loved working with cows, his true love was farming. He literally traveled the world, but he always considered Ferron his home, calling it God's Country. He loved his family, especially his children. He was the rock of his family.
